Pamela Vincent
Pamela Vincent was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, home of the Motown sound. She began her professional singing career at the age of 14, recruited by her sister Joyce Vincent and Telma Hopkins as the 3rd voice of the popular backup trio. They became one of the most sought-after backup groups in and around the Detroit area, eventually becoming the in-house background singers for famed ex-Motown songwriters Holland-Dozier-Holland. Their voices were heard on mega-hits like "Band of Gold" (Freda Payne) and "Give me just a little more time" (Chairmen of the board), as well as all of the other artists out to the H-D-H studio...Invictus Records.
