Martha Taylor LaCroixRead bio
Martha Taylor LaCroix began her music career as a vocalist with the Dick Stabile Orchestra, the former musical director for Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. She later joined the New Orleans Opera Company as a background singer for Lee Dorcey and Allen Toussaint, and her first album recorded, “Introducing Marti Lynn,” was produced by Wardell Quezergue, R&B hit maker of “Mr. Big Stuff.” In addition to being founder of the Holiday Celebration Club, she presently works as an entertainer/recording artist specializing in jazz. She was among the honorees receiving the Jazz LivingLegend Award in 2016. |
